Transylvania

Brasov City | Brașov is located in the central part of the country, about 166 km north of Bucharest and 380 km from the Black Sea. It is surrounded by the Southern Carpathians and is part of the historical region of Transylvania. In popular culture, Transylvania is commonly associated with vampires because of the influence of Bram Stoker's 1897 novel "Dracula", and the many subsequent books and films inspired by the story.
