Cavalaire-sur-Mer Harbor
The harbor for a natural environment. Located at the heart of a privileged environment, the Cavalaire harbor has to show exemplarity for marine protection. The activity of the port of Cavalaire-sur-Mer is marked by the diversity of its users: boaters, fishermen, professionals, pedestrians, walkers, etc. THE CAPTAINCY This building for convenience, will be located near the parking lots and in the orthodromy of the port. Its architecture and organization will allow accessibility for all (terrace, harbor master's reception, and fishing hall), offering a balcony overlooking the sea, a pedestrian axis between the parking lots, the harbor master's office, the parking lot, the nautical pole called "cliff building" and the edge to the quay. The building will house a fishing hall that aims to offer fishermen a high-performance work tool and an attractive sales room. Its architecture will be contemporary, where the major notions will be transparency, quality of reception, accessibility, visibility, and quality of interior spaces.
THE YACHT CLUB
As requested during the investigations, a building will be built that will serve as a Yacht Club. Intuitively it will be reserved for boaters and people practicing nautical activities. It will include a large balcony terrace overlooking the sea with a surface area of 300 m². During critical events, the building can be made available. It will be a building that will include the following:- An area dedicated to the Yacht Club, which will include a standard meeting room, a lounge bar on 350 m²;- A local of 45 m² (concierge);- Toilets, showers (40 m²);- A catering room of 15 m² including a dumbwaiter on the terrace, cold room, and washing point;- A meeting room of 45 m²- A covered area on the ground floor multimodal for parking, paddocks, or events;- A public terrace on the first floor of 300 m²;- A technical terrace with a high floor;- An elevator and an emergency staircase.
THE HOUSE OF THE SEA
This space called "House of the Sea" will house:- A cultural room dedicated to marine activities and marine archaeology;- The tourist office dedicated to nautical and sea activities;- An amphitheater roof dedicated to events related to the sea and the city;- A semi-underground car park with 62 spaces, 2 PRM spaces, and 10 2-wheel spaces;- Toilets, showers, changing room;- A technical room of 15 m²;- A meeting place.- The building will have a surface of 970 m² with a fully accessible terrace, and it will be equipped with an elevator at its entire height.
